Your Care Package Includes:
• 1 Intake Visit (1.5 hours) — free of charge
• 8 Prenatal/Postpartum Visits (1–1.5 hours each) — use these however works best for you, whether prenatal, postpartum, or a mix of both
• 2 Extended Postpartum Care Visits (3 hours each)
• Labor and Delivery Support
Need overnight postpartum care? That is available out of pocket at your doula's rate. Book your free intake visit to get started.

What does doula support look like at different stages?
Prenatal: Your doula meets with you for regular check-ins to discuss your birth plan, answer questions, teach comfort techniques, and help you feel prepared and confident.
Labor and Birth: Your doula provides continuous emotional and physical support throughout labor, including breathing techniques, positioning, advocacy, and a calming presence by your side.
Postpartum: After delivery, your doula helps with breastfeeding support, newborn care guidance, emotional well-being, and connecting you with additional resources as you adjust to life with your new baby.
Labor and Birth: Your doula provides continuous emotional and physical support throughout labor, including breathing techniques, positioning, advocacy, and a calming presence by your side.
Postpartum: After delivery, your doula helps with breastfeeding support, newborn care guidance, emotional well-being, and connecting you with additional resources as you adjust to life with your new baby.
What happens if I go into labor and my doula is not available?
We have got you covered. Every Raya patient has a backup doula arrangement in place. If your primary doula is unavailable when labor begins, we arrange a backup doula from our Raya Network. We have doulas all over California, so we will make sure a qualified backup who is familiar with your birth preferences and care plan is there to support you when it matters most.

Yes. Every doula in the Raya network is trained and certified through recognized doula certification programs. Our doulas also go through Raya's own credentialing and onboarding process, which includes background checks, skills verification, and ongoing quality reviews.
