Hi, I’m Alison! I’m a DONA-certified full-spectrum doula, and I truly love this work. I believe birth is one of the most powerful transitions we experience, and no one should have to move through it feeling overwhelmed, unheard, or alone.
My role is to be a steady person in your corner to help you understand your options, prepare for what’s ahead, advocate for what matters to you, and feel supported when plans change.
I bring a warm, hands-on approach to care, offering birth education, movement and positioning, breathing techniques, massage, comfort measures, and emotional support throughout pregnancy and labor. I also support families through postpartum and pregnancy loss with the same level of care and compassion.
More than anything, I want you to walk away from your experience feeling heard, respected, cared for, and proud of the way you moved through it.
I’m a Medi-Cal provider and work with Kaiser and other participating insurance plans.
Doula care with me feels like you have someone genuinely in your corner. My hope is that you look back on this chapter feeling heard, cared for, and proud of yourself and the way you welcomed your baby. My role is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly seen, so you can move through each stage with trust in yourself and your choices.
During pregnancy, I focus on building a foundation of connection and education, helping you understand your options, preparing your body through gentle somatic awareness, and supporting your nervous system so you enter birth feeling grounded and resourced. In birth, I offer steady, intuitive support, attentive to the environment, the energy in the room, and your unique needs in each moment. I provide hands-on comfort measures, emotional reassurance, and guidance that keeps you connected to your body and your instincts, while supporting clear communication with your care team.
Postpartum is a time I hold with equal importance. I support rest, nourishment, and integration, both physically and emotionally, through gentle bodywork, creating a calm and supportive home environment, and helping you process your experience so you feel held as you transition into motherhood.
My philosophy is to walk alongside you with care and intention, offering both practical support and a grounded presence so you feel empowered, respected, and deeply supported throughout your journey. Birth is so much more than a medical event. It’s a deeply personal and powerful transition, and I believe every family deserves to move through it feeling cared for, informed, respected, and surrounded by care.
I believe in evidence-based care and informed choice, while also honoring the importance of listening to your body and trusting your instincts. There is no one right way to give birth. My role is to help you understand your options, feel confident in your choices, and feel supported as you step into motherhood.
