About Me

Hi, I'm Amy! I'm a proud mother of four, a full spectrum doula, advanced prison doula in training, and child care provider. For the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of supporting families through their unique journeys—from pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early childhood. Before that, I spent 12 years working in healthcare, which deepened my passion for caring for and serving others. I'm especially passionate about lactation and love helping families find their groove in parenthood by sharing tips, tricks, and encouragement along the way. Supporting families during such meaningful stages of life is truly my calling.

My philosophy is rooted in meeting families where they are and providing steady, compassionate support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a mother of four, I understand firsthand that every pregnancy, birth, and transition into parenthood is different. That lived experience deeply informs how I support families—with empathy, flexibility, and respect for each family's values and goals. I take a holistic, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approach, focusing on education, emotional support, and advocacy so parents feel confident making informed decisions. During birth, I aim to create a calm, grounded presence while supporting both physiological and medical births. In the postpartum period, I prioritize rest, recovery, emotional well-being, and practical support to help families adjust smoothly and feel supported as they settle into their new rhythm.

On a personal note, I've been married to my husband, Bobby, for 15 wonderful years. Together we're raising three amazing daughters and one son, who are now 12, 10, 8, and 4. When I'm not working, you'll usually find us at the soccer field, taking trips to the lake, or enjoying bike rides along the beach. Family is at the heart of everything I do. My goal is to help you feel seen, empowered, and capable as you move through pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood.
