About Me
Hi, I'm Angelica! I became interested in caring for postpartum families after having my own three children. Before becoming a parent myself, I had no idea how much I would need to lean on my community. The support I received from birth doulas, lactation consultants, and the friends I made in parent support groups carried me as I learned to parent my children. Giving the same support and guidance that I received as a new, nervous mom to others is so incredibly fulfilling.
As an IBCLC and postpartum doula, my support can include newborn care education and soothing techniques, assistance with difficulties at breast and/or bottle, pumping support, and more. My goal is to help your family find a new rhythm as you settle into life with your new baby. My job is to provide education and support to parents—sometimes parents simply don't know how to care for their new baby, sometimes what they really need is emotional support, and sometimes they just need rest. I approach all families with an open mind so that I can be helpful in a way that best supports them as a whole in their new role as parents, whether it's your first, second, third, or beyond.
