Hi, I'm Angie! As a mother of two, I understand just how meaningful and transformative the journey into motherhood can be. Becoming a mom has greatly shaped the way I support families - with compassion, understanding, patience and how important it is to feel heard and cared for. During my work as a doula I have partnered with a local space to offer free education multiple times throughout the year on all things birth. I believe that access to education on labor, birth, understanding your options, lactation, and postpartum is extremely important and it is something I am very passionate about. I am currently offering my classes both in person and virtually. In addition to teaching my classes, I have attended both hospital and home births and respect all birth plans, cultural beliefs and practices. It is truly such an honor to support families in such a special and unforgettable chapter in their lives.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the right to make informed decisions about their own care and their child's care. My job as a doula is to help provide information to allow my clients to make informed decisions without judgement and hold a nurturing space where you can trust your body, your choices, and your instincts. I assist by providing education during prenatal visits and understanding each client's wants and needs to develop an intricate, in-depth birth plan that follows their wishes. "Mothers holding mothers" is at the heart of how I show up for every family I serve, so no mother feels alone.
Every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered through their experience.
