About Me

Hi, I'm Betsy Brown, CD (DONA)! I am a wife, a proud mother to our four adult children, and a grandmother to our two young granddaughters. I have been passionate about pregnancy and birth since my very first pregnancy, and supporting mothers through the birthing process is truly my calling.

On a personal note, I love spending time with and caring for my family and friends, they are at the heart of everything I do. That same warmth and devotion is what I bring to every family I have the privilege of supporting.

Practice Philosophy

My philosophy in supporting you is simple: to help you have the birth you desire. I provide compassionate, informational support that empowers my clients to make the decisions they want and feel comfortable with. I help advocate for your options and choices, going over procedures so you can understand each preference with clear knowledge and information, and so you feel more confident heading into labor.

I want to spend adequate time working with you and helping you achieve your birth goals. That support continues after delivery and through the postpartum period, where I make sure you and your family have the resources and care available to you. I view it as an honor and a privilege to be your doula.

Overall, my goal is to help you feel informed, confident, and fully supported as you move through pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood, knowing that I am here for you every step of the way.
