Hi, my name is Dawn. I am a DONA International–certified Birth Doula (2002) and Postpartum Doula (2003) with more than 20 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

Hi, I'm Dawn! I've spent over two decades supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and those first tender weeks with a newborn, and if there's one thing I know for sure, it's this: no one should walk into this experience feeling unprepared, unheard, or alone. I've been at hundreds of births, and I've seen what happens when women feel confident and supported… and what happens when they don't. That's why I do this work; it's truly my calling.
I believe support shouldn't end at birth, because in many ways, that's when everything really begins. My approach is to guide you through the entire experience, from pregnancy to birth to those first weeks with your baby, so you're not just prepared for the big day, but for everything that comes after.
That means helping you understand your options during pregnancy and birth, while also making sure you feel confident feeding your baby, navigating recovery, and adjusting to this completely new rhythm of life. I combine education, emotional support, and real-life guidance, so you're never left guessing or piecing things together at 2am.
There's no one "right" way to do any of this. My role isn't to take over your birth or push an agenda; it's to help you understand your options, trust your instincts, and feel steady no matter how your experience unfolds, so you can make decisions that feel right for you every step of the way.
This is your experience; I just help you feel ready for it. Because when you feel truly prepared for both birth and postpartum, everything changes.
