Hi, my name is Elizabeth “Ellie.” I was born and raised in Tovaangar (Los Angeles, CA), and my parents and lineage come from Nahuatl-speaking lands in what is now called Jalisco and Colima, Mexico. As a former community organizer, I come to birthwork with a deep desire to breathe life into a world rooted in our cultural and ancestral gifts. My interest in birthwork flourished as I began learning from and grounding myself in my own cultural practices and land-based work. I see dignified, culturally rooted birthwork as a path forward—a basket that can hold both our personal and collective transformation.
I bring my experience as a mother, my spiritual practice, and years of community learning into the way I support families. I humbly offer my energy, presence, and care to you and your loved ones during this sacred time.
I honor birth and postpartum as a ceremony—transformative rites of passage for the birthing parent, baby, and family as a whole. My role is to hold families both practically and spiritually as they embark on the incredible journey into parenthood, creating space for care, connection, and reverence for this life-changing transition.
