Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I’m a birth doula with a strong foundation in postpartum recovery and newborn sleep, which allows me to support families not just during labor, but throughout the entire transition into parenthood. As a mother of five, I understand firsthand how intense and life-changing this season can be, and I bring both professional knowledge and real-life perspective to the families I work with.
Families often describe me as a steady, grounding presence during birth—calm under pressure, attentive, and deeply supportive. My goal is to help parents feel prepared and confident before labor even begins. I believe that when families understand what is happening in their bodies and know what to expect, fear naturally decreases and confidence grows. During labor, I focus on emotional reassurance, hands-on comfort techniques, and helping partners stay involved so everyone feels connected and supported as a team. My support doesn’t end when the baby arrives. I continue working with families during the postpartum period, offering guidance with recovery, feeding, newborn behavior, and sleep so parents don’t feel alone once they leave the hospital. I believe birth works best when families feel safe, informed, and truly supported—not rushed or left to figure things out on their own.
What makes my care unique is that I don’t see birth as just one day, but as the beginning of a major life transition. My goal is to help families feel more stable, rested, and confident as they step into this new chapter. Above all, I want every family I support to feel stronger, calmer, and more capable when our time together ends than when it began.
