Hi, my name is Jaeden. As a young Black American doula, I am passionate about helping address disparities in birth outcomes and supporting families from marginalized communities with compassionate, respectful care. Coming from a family with a history of military service, I also understand the unique challenges that can come with families who move frequently or navigate changing support systems.
With special interests in herbalism and holistic medicine, I strive to help families create a birthing experience that feels aligned with their values, preferences, and needs. I believe birth is a deeply personal journey, and my goal is to support you in feeling informed, confident, and empowered every step of the way.
My philosophy is grounded in compassion and informed consent. Every person experiences birth differently, and I believe it is vital to meet families where they are—whether that means addressing fears, answering questions, or helping shape a birth plan that feels right for them. I aim to provide clear, evidence-based information about what families may hear during appointments or from others in their lives, while also sharing insights from my experiences supporting births. My goal is to ensure that every decision you make is one you feel confident, supported, and comfortable with.
