Jamiani Gray

Full Spectrum Doula

About Me

Hi, I'm Jamiani Gray, also known to the birthing community as Sacred Earf! I am a holistic birth worker, life and death doula for infants, and founder of Sacred Earf Ministries, a healing arts and community care practice rooted in cultural wisdom, birth justice, and earth-based healing traditions. My work honors the sacred cycles of life, including conception, birth, postpartum, grief, miscarriage, and life transitions, and walking alongside families through these cycles is truly my calling.

I approach care through a mind, body, and spirit framework, believing that healing is a process of remembering and returning to the wisdom of the body, the land, and our ancestral lineages. Through Sacred Earf Ministries, I offer grounded, heart-centered support that includes emotional and spiritual care, nutrition-informed guidance, herbal wellness practices, and community-based healing support.

As a life and death doula, I hold space for grief as sacred and transformative. I support individuals and families through loss with presence, reverence, and non-judgment, honoring each person's unique spiritual beliefs, cultural practices, and lived experience. My role is to walk alongside in witness and care, supporting transitions and life with dignity and deep respect.

My mission is to restore the presence of communal care within the birthing community and support families in being held through one of life's most sacred transitions. I am dedicated to ensuring that children are brought into the world through gentleness, rather than force or disconnection. My goal is to hold every family I serve with reverence, presence, and unwavering care throughout every sacred transition of their lives.

Practice Philosophy

My philosophy is rooted in the belief that birth is a deeply personal experience, and every family deserves care that is compassionate, respectful, and free of judgment. Birthing can be complex, but it can also be a beautiful journey when a family has a community to hold them with care. My approach is rooted in meeting clients where they are, honoring their values, and helping them make informed decisions about their care.

Due to my profession in nutrition, I value holistic practices, understanding that food is medicine, while also deeply respecting the role of medical professionals. I fully support clients in following their healthcare providers' recommendations, including taking prescribed medications when appropriate, so families feel held every step of the way without any bias or contradiction.

As a life and death doula, I also hold a mind, body, and soul approach when supporting prenatal loss, miscarriage, and abortion experiences, because that is also a part of birthing too. I believe that being able to hold space for grief is a central part of care. I support clients through all forms of loss with compassion, presence, and non-judgment, honoring whatever emotions, choices, or spiritual beliefs arise. My role is to create a safe space where grief can be witnessed and processed gently.

Overall, my goal is to walk alongside every family so they feel heard, empowered, and supported throughout their journey, whatever form that journey takes.
