About Me

Hi, I'm Kathleen! I've been supporting families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss for over 15 years, and it remains one of the greatest honors of my life. I trained as a professional Birth Doula in 2009 and earned my certification with Birthing From Within in 2012, which I renew each September. I also held DONA certification from 2011 to 2020. This work is truly my calling.

My journey in birth work has taken many rewarding paths. From 2015 to 2020, I served as a Lifestyle Educator (CBE) with Kaiser Permanente, where I loved connecting with expectant families in our community. And from 2020 to 2025, I had the privilege of teaching online classes to birth professionals around the world as a Birthing From Within Professional Trainer.

Practice Philosophy

My philosophy centers on patient-centered care, always practiced within the certified doula scope of practice. It began at The Farm in Tennessee and has grown over the years to embrace Birth Equity and Trauma-Informed practices through my training with Birthing From Within.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: every client deserves a safe space to learn, ask questions, and feel truly supported, without judgment, no matter what.

What I strive for in every interaction is straightforward: I meet each family with respect, compassionate listening, and unwavering support throughout their unique journey, whether that's pregnancy, birth, postpartum, or navigating loss. Your story matters, your choices matter, and overall, my goal is to walk alongside you every step of the way.
