About Me

Hello and welcome — I'm Laci! I'm a San Diego–based birth doula dedicated to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based, and heart-centered care. I believe that birth is not only a physical experience but an emotional and transformative one, and every family deserves to feel informed, empowered, and deeply supported through it all.

My path to birth work began with two transformative births that made me realize there is a gap in the traditional healthcare system when it comes to supporting birthing individuals. My hope is to educate all families on their choices involved with birth so they can make the best choice for their family possible by providing evidence-based information and the most up-to-date studies. What I bring to each birth is calm presence, grounded intuition, and a commitment to honoring your unique wishes.

I've supported families across a wide spectrum of birth preferences—unmedicated, epidural-supported, VBAC, cesarean, hospital, birth center, and home birth—and my role is always the same: to help you feel safe, heard, and respected. Outside the birth space, I'm with my girls exploring parks, museums, and libraries, or drinking an iced coffee.
