About Me
I'm Lenore Musambacine, a certified birth and postpartum doula, lactation specialist, and childbirth educator based in Oakland, CA. Since 2016, I've supported families with a holistic approach that blends evidence-based education, mindfulness, movement, and traditional healing practices, with deep commitment to multicultural, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC communities.
My philosophy is rooted in presence, education, and advocacy. I believe pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are powerful life transitions that deserve both evidence-based guidance and compassionate care. My role is to create space where families feel informed, grounded, and supported in making decisions that align with their values. I blend evidence-based knowledge with mindfulness and body balance practices while placing strong emphasis on emotional wellbeing. During labor, I offer comfort techniques, positioning support, and advocacy so families feel seen and heard. In postpartum, I center rest, recovery, and mental health—helping families build their village and feel supported in the transitions of early parenthood. I currently offer virtual prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula services.
