

Claire Tata is a birth and postpartum doula, Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), Lactation Education Specialist (LES), mom, and new parent educator with a special focus on infant sleep. She offers individualized, non-medical support to new and expecting parents in the Los Angeles area, providing emotional, informational, and practical support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, always in direct service of each family's goals. An enthusiastic and knowledgeable companion on the journey to welcoming your new baby, Claire finds this work to be truly her calling.
Claire holds a Master's in Teaching and was previously a PK-12 teacher, and she brings all of her knowledge of learning and infant and child development to her current practice, along with a deep respect for the mother-baby bond. Her goal is to help you feel supported, informed, and confident as you welcome your little one.
My philosophy is rooted in being a guide and an informed companion. I provide a steady presence, ready resources, and flexible, person-centered support, meeting each family exactly where they are. It's my job to make sure my clients feel safe, informed, capable, and comfortable every step of the way.
