About Me

Hi, I'm Mai! I am a dedicated Registered Nurse and emerging Nurse Case Manager in Northern California, known for my compassionate, patient-centered approach and my strong commitment to holistic, evidence-based care. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing in Case Management from Samuel Merritt University, where I developed advanced skills in care coordination, patient advocacy, and population health. My clinical experience includes acute care, trauma ICU exposure, community-based nursing, home health, and integrative health across multiple systems, including Sutter Roseville, NorthBay Health, Maxim Home Health, and ShaMynds Healing Center.

My background as a volunteer doula deeply shaped my practice and taught me the importance of empathy, emotional support, and guiding patients through vulnerable transitions with knowledge and compassion. My doula experience gave me firsthand insight into how essential this role is in supporting pregnant individuals toward the best possible outcomes. It taught me the value of providing reassurance, companionship, and evidence-based interventions that help patients navigate this sensitive time with safety, compassion, guidance, and education while preparing them for each next step.

I am passionate about supporting individuals through pregnancy and childbirth, promoting safe and informed decision-making, advocating for emotional and physical needs, and empowering families through compassionate education and continuous guidance. Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted mother of three and an active member of the Folsom community. I enjoy kayaking, exploring local cafés, painting rocks, learning new things, and embracing continuous personal growth with curiosity and warmth.
