Hi, I'm Maria! I'm a bilingual birth and postpartum doula, fluent in English and Spanish, holding a bachelor's degree in Human Development since completing my doula training in 2018. For the past several years, I've had the privilege of supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, having supported more than twenty births with compassionate, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental care. As a mother myself, I understand how meaningful and life-changing this journey can be, and supporting families through it is truly my calling.
My goal is to help every client feel informed, respected, confident, and supported as they make the choices that are right for their family.
My philosophy is rooted in providing compassionate, respectful care that is centered on each client's individual needs, values, culture, and birth preferences. I offer evidence-informed education, emotional reassurance, physical comfort measures, and continuous support so clients feel heard, prepared, and empowered to make informed decisions. I believe every family deserves nonjudgmental and culturally sensitive care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, and I work collaboratively with families and their medical care teams to support that goal.
Overall, my goal is to offer support in both English and Spanish, so every family feels understood, respected, and confident in the choices they make for their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
