About Me

Hi, I'm Melanie! As a mother of two with both cesarean and VBAC birth experiences, and over 12 years as a doula, I bring both lived understanding and seasoned support to the families I serve. Walking alongside families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is truly my calling.

My work is rooted in autonomy, informed choice, and centering the mother's experience, so families feel safe, respected, supported, and deeply cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I bring a somatic layer to birth work, a body-centered approach that helps clients build both internal and external resources as they journey through the birthing portal. I believe birth is not only a physical event, but a deeply relational, emotional, and embodied experience.

My role is to help families feel grounded in their bodies, connected to their intuition, and supported in ways that foster safety, trust, and resilience throughout the process. Through compassionate presence, thoughtful education, and steady support, I help clients understand their options and navigate decisions with confidence.
