About Me

Hi, I'm Mercediz! My journey to becoming a doula is deeply personal. I'm a proud mother of four who has also experienced the IVF journey and welcomed two surrogate babies into the world. Through my six birth experiences, I've become deeply familiar with induced labors, cesarean births, and natural births, giving me a unique understanding of the many paths motherhood can take.

After the birth of my sixth baby, I experienced a level of support, care, and empowerment completely different from my previous births. The nursing care I received was truly amazing and played a pivotal role in helping me achieve an unmedicated birth. For the first time, I felt fully supported, encouraged, and confident in my body's ability to give birth. That experience inspired me to give back to other women during one of the most important moments of their lives, and becoming a doula is truly my calling.

I'm here to help you achieve the outcome you desire, offering the encouragement, advocacy, comfort, and empowerment that can make all the difference. I believe in supporting and empowering not just the mother, but the whole family, so everyone feels part of the journey.

Having walked many different paths to motherhood myself, through induced, cesarean, and natural births, I understand that every birth is unique. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident, no matter what kind of birth experience you have.

Overall, my goal is simply this: that you feel fully supported, encouraged, and confident in your body and your choices, held by someone who has been there and truly believes in you.
