About Me
My name is Nahid Nawid. I am a trained doula and a public health student with over 3 years of experience supporting immigrant and refugee families, especially within the Afghan community. I provide compassionate, culturally respectful care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I speak Dari, Pashto, Urdu, and English, which allows me to support families in their preferred language and help them feel safe and understood. My goal as a doula is to empower birthing people through education, emotional support, and advocacy. I am currently completing my Master’s in Public Health to continue promoting maternal and child health in underserved communities.
