About Me

Hi I’m Natalie, I am a mother of 2 sweet boys and married to my best friend. I am a doula and childbirth educator serving in San Diego.

I believe that birth is a rite of passage. It’s not only a physical experience, but also an emotional, spiritual and a mental one. It’s the transition into becoming a mother, a parent (for the first time, or second or third..).

It was this realization, and my own 2 births that inspired me to become a doula, and to be there for other mothers and families on their transformative moment.

I enter the labor space with energy that helps you go through the process feeling empowered, uplifted, supported and safe. I believe that every family has their own story and their own path to go through.

I will help you prepare your mindset, support you emotionally and physically and be your advocate through your journey!

Practice Philosophy

I believe every couple has their own history and approach. When I meet a new coupe I like to understand where they are coming from and meet them where they are. I like to educate people about birth, and help them get new perspectives about it, that they might hadn't thought about before.
I think birth is such a spiritual process, many people feel that you need to know all the facts and then everything will go as planned. But birth is so unpredictable, and the baby is part of it too, so I like to help people understand and connect to that, and give them tools to cope with whatever happens.
I do think birth is a natural process and from that understanding, help people gain confident in themselves and their body and their baby.
