Hi, I'm Nayeli-Milemny! I'm a bilingual birth doula, fluent in English and Spanish, based in San Diego, and a mother of three little boys. I trained through the UCSD Health Hearts and Hands Doula Program, and I bring a holistic, whole-person approach to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care, shaped by my background as a massage therapist, holistic health practitioner, clinical herbalist, and yoga instructor, alongside an evidence-based perspective as a Human Biology graduate and current M.S. student in the Pathways to Health Professions program at UC San Diego.
As a mother of three boys myself, I walk with my clients through one of life's most sacred transitions, giving glory to God for the privilege of being present in that work, and this is truly my calling. My mission is simple: to help every family feel informed, respected, and deeply supported.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that birth is sacred work, a moment where the physical, emotional, and spiritual meet. I walk alongside my clients through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum with the belief that every family deserves to feel safe, respected, and deeply supported, and I give the glory to God for the privilege of being present in that space.
My approach is rooted in a holistic understanding of the body, informed by my training as a massage therapist, holistic health practitioner, and yoga instructor, which shapes how I read a laboring body, offer comfort, and help clients find calm in intensity. At the same time, I have obtained a degree in Human Biology and am preparing for medical school while pursuing a master's degree in the Pathways to Health Professions program at UCSD, so I bring an evidence-based, clinically literate perspective to every birth I attend. I do not see these as separate lenses; together, they let me support the whole person, body, mind, and spirit.
Overall, as a bilingual doula in English and Spanish and a mother myself, I understand firsthand how vulnerable and powerful this season of life is. My goal is to be a steady, informed, faith-grounded presence, advocating for every family, honoring their choices, and helping them feel truly seen through pregnancy, birth, and the fourth trimester.
