Full Spectrum Doula

About Me

Hi, I'm Nicole! I am a mother of four, a dedicated birth worker, and the founder of New Harmony Doula and Lactation Services. As a full spectrum doula, I specialize in trauma-informed care, VBAC support, cesarean birth support, pregnancy termination support, postpartum care, and lactation guidance, and this work is truly my calling. I am currently pursuing my IBCLC and working toward my PhD with a focus in health psychology, blending research-informed practices with compassionate, family-centered care.

As an Abundant Birth Coach, I empower families to approach pregnancy, birth, and early parenting with confidence, knowledge, and joy.

On a personal note, I also serve as co-chair of the San Gabriel Valley African-American Infant and Maternal Mortality Prevention Intervention, where I help strengthen community partnerships, expand access to resources, and amplify the voices of families and maternal health initiatives. I am committed to helping every family feel supported, informed, and deeply valued during every stage of their pregnancy journey.

Practice Philosophy

My philosophy is rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate care for every family I serve. I believe birth workers must meet families with research-informed practices alongside genuine warmth, honoring each person's unique path through pregnancy, birth, and early parenting, whether that includes VBAC, cesarean birth, pregnancy termination, or the transition into lactation and postpartum recovery.

As an Abundant Birth Coach, I believe families deserve to approach this season with confidence, knowledge, and joy, not just survival. My work extends beyond individual care into community advocacy, through my role as co-chair of the San Gabriel Valley African-American Infant and Maternal Mortality Prevention Intervention, where I help strengthen partnerships, expand access to resources, and amplify the voices of families too often left unheard in maternal health spaces.

Overall, my goal is to help every family feel supported, informed, and deeply valued at every stage of their pregnancy journey, while contributing to a larger movement toward safer, more equitable maternal health outcomes for the community.
