Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with extensive training and years of experience caring for families on a large hospital's postpartum unit. I've had the privilege of supporting new parents and babies during the tender, early days after birth, and I rounded out my hands-on hospital experience with outpatient lactation training as an IBCLC. I'm especially passionate about lactation and love helping families find their footing as they settle into life with their new little one. Supporting families during such a meaningful stage of life is truly my calling.
My philosophy is rooted in meeting families where they are and developing a plan together. As a seasoned mother of five (boys!), I understand firsthand that every family's journey into motherhood is different, and that lived experience deeply informs how I support you, with empathy, flexibility, and respect for your unique goals.
I bring a blend of research-based information and practical, real-world advice to each consultation to ease your transition into motherhood. I take the time to listen to your goals and assess your needs, so that together we can create a plan that truly fits your family. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and confident every step of the way.
