Hi, I'm Rose! I'm a birth doula specializing in prenatals, comfort measures, birth support and postpartum. I love babies and welcoming them into this world!
EDUCATION:
I hold a BA, an MA in Education, Birth Doula training from DONA and doula certifications from Prodoula and Doulas Institute. This work is truly my calling; few people can say they love what they do. I certainly love what I do!
EXPERIENCE:
I've also worked in the Nursing Department in rehab, mental health, ER, ICU, and medical/surgical units at a hospital in Rhode Island. Having worked in the medical field for years, I understand what it takes to deliver quality care to patients and give them the bedside support they need. Although I am not a nurse, I have worked in the nursing department of acute care facilities for several years. I understand medical terminology, hospital set-ups, amenities within a hospital and medical interventions that might be given to a patient. I will educate you on what to expect!
I love teaching what I know and sharing my knowledge with parents. You will learn a lot through my sessions! I believe in providing expectant parents with the best options of their care in this journey. I respect all parents and support them in their wishes- in whichever direction they decide to go.
It's my life's mission to serve all people, regardless of background. Having lived abroad for eight years—in South Korea, Taiwan, Colombia, and the Middle East, I understand what it takes to be culturally sensitive to each family.
I proudly serve all of Lancaster, Palmdale, downtown L.A., L.A. county, Orange County, and Southern California. I hope to be part of your journey and to share my experiences with you!
My philosophy is to meet parents exactly where they are in their journey. I respect all boundaries and provide the information families need to make informed decisions about their care, because I believe every woman should feel empowered through every stage: pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.
I believe women deserve a holistic approach that supports their overall health and well-being through this life-changing experience. I offer support in holistic healing, aromatherapy, essential oils, Chinese medicine, and Ayurveda, drawing on the years I spent living in South Korea and Taiwan, where I learned firsthand the importance of traditional medicine and natural healing for the body.
Overall, my goal is to help you feel informed, empowered, and cared for as a whole person, supported with holistic, respectful, and culturally grounded care through every stage of your journey.
