About Me
Hi, I'm Ruth! I have a background in child development and have been supporting families since 2011 as a caregiver. In 2015, I gave birth to my first child—an experience that profoundly shifted my focus to education and support during the pregnancy and postpartum periods. Since 2017, I've trained as a Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, and completed the UCSD Lactation Consultant program. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Certified Doula, and I'm currently training in the Body Ready Method.
Over the years, I've become what some call a "walking perinatal encyclopedia"—but my knowledge is only valuable when it serves you and your unique journey. My philosophy is simple: your goals are my guide. I believe in meeting parents where they are, without judgment, and supporting you in making the decisions that align with your values and desires.
Whether you need lactation support, postpartum care, or newborn expertise, I bring both deep knowledge and genuine compassion to every interaction. You deserve to feel informed, confident, and supported throughout this transformative time.
