About Me

Hi, I'm Sheryll! In 2014, after having my own home birth, I knew that I wanted to help expectant families have that same empowered and supported birthing experience that I did. That transformative moment sparked a deep passion in me—one that continues to drive my work every single day.

I am dedicated to making sure that you and your partner feel like you have the skills you need to have the most positive birth experience possible. I love to explore and research ways to provide you with continuous support, and I use evidence-based information so that you can make educated decisions during your pregnancy, birth, and into postpartum.

My support is based on your family's needs because all births are different. I listen to your wishes and needs, and together we build birth preferences that truly reflect what matters to you. We go through labor rehearsals and scenarios to make sure that everyone is on the same page if a situation comes up. My goal is to educate and empower—so any information that you would like to know, I will provide it, as long as it's evidence-based.

I take the same approach with postpartum. Newborn care is based not only on what the AAP recommends, but on your culture and beliefs. The way that I took care of my kids is going to differ from how you're going to take care of your own. So I listen and I don't judge. Your family, your values, your choices—that's what guides the support I provide.
