Hi, I'm Sheryll! In 2014, after having my own home birth, I knew that I wanted to help expectant families have that same empowered and supported birthing experience that I did. That transformative moment sparked a deep passion in me—one that continues to drive my work every single day.

Hi, I'm Sheryll! In 2014, after having my own home birth, I knew I wanted to help expectant families have that same empowered and supported birthing experience I did. That transformative moment sparked a deep passion in me, one that continues to drive my work every single day. This is truly my calling.
When I first meet you and your partner, I love to get to know you and learn your vision for your labor and birth. We'll have several sessions together, and my goal is to leave you both a little more knowledgeable and confident each time, equipped with the skills you need for the most positive birth experience possible.
My support is built around your family's needs, because no two births are the same. I listen closely to your wishes, and together we build birth preferences that truly reflect what matters to you. We even walk through labor rehearsals and different scenarios, so that if something comes up, everyone is on the same page.
I research and provide continuous, evidence-based support so you can make educated decisions. If you have any information you'd like to know, I'll provide it, as long as it's evidence-based. And when I walk into the labor room, I quickly assess the situation and get into action, adapting to whatever your birth brings.
I take the same approach in postpartum: I blend AAP guidance with your own culture, values, and beliefs, because the way I cared for my children will differ from how you care for yours. I listen, and I don't judge; your family, your values, your choices guide the support I provide. Overall, my goal is for you to look back on your birth and think, "Every choice I made for myself and my baby was intentional, and because I was prepared ahead of time, I felt confident and empowered."
