Hi, I'm Suraya! I am an herbalist, holistic health practitioner, and doula, and my path to this work began with my own journey back to my body. After years of disconnection from hormonal birth control, I rebuilt my health through cycle awareness, herbal medicine, and nature-rooted living, studying alongside teachers in Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, functional medicine, and womb-centered somatic practice. That lived experience shapes how I now walk beside women through conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss, and doing this work is truly my calling.
I hold deep trust in physiological birth as a powerful, innate process, and I believe women are the ultimate authority of their own bodies. Rooted in Ayurveda, herbalism, whole food nutrition, and cycle wisdom, I blend evidence-based support with ancestral knowledge, prioritizing nourishment, nervous system regulation, and somatic awareness so that each mother feels grounded, informed, and connected to her own intuition.
I do not see my role as fixing or directing. I am here to witness, educate, and empower, building community where women reconnect to nature's rhythms and step into motherhood with clarity, courage, and confidence. My goal is to help every woman I work with feel grounded, empowered, and deeply connected to her own body throughout this journey.
My philosophy is rooted in a holistic doula care model that honors physiological birth as a powerful, innate process, supporting women through conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss with a focus on deep nourishment, nervous system regulation, and trust in the body's design. Rooted in Ayurveda, herbalism, whole food nutrition, and cycle wisdom, this approach helps mothers make informed, grounded decisions.
I believe education creates confidence, so I prioritize body literacy, somatic awareness, and practical tools that leave women feeling steady, clear, and connected to their intuition, while honoring sovereignty, informed consent, and radical self-trust. Women are the ultimate authority of their own bodies, and my role is to witness, educate, and empower rather than direct, building community where women reconnect to nature's rhythms and step into birth and motherhood with clarity, courage, and confidence.
Overall, I believe that a woman's ability to bring life into this world deserves to be intentionally honored with reverence and respect, and in doing so, we create a world of empowered and deeply alive mothers.
