About Me

When birth begins, the mother rides the wave of giving birth with her whole body and soul, breathing in unison, and welcomes the birth of life.

I gave birth at the same hospital I volunteered at, moved to the United States, experienced a lonely birth and breastfeeding experience, went through a divorce, and had many other social experiences. During this time, I met my mentor, who was a doula at the time, and took doula training. I have been a doula in the United States for 15 years.

To date, I have provided face-to-face and remote support to approximately 300 families in Japan and the United States. What I learned there is that childbirth is centered on the life that is born and the mother who gives birth. And regarding "how the whole family will welcome the new member," there is no single method or plan. The mother who gives birth also "gives birth to her original self" and "experiences all her emotions and sensations." I will ride the waves and process of childbirth with you and help you create a space of security.
