About Me
Hi, I'm Willow! Iam a queer, Oakland-based birthworker and land steward. I connect my work with birthing families to the political and spiritual defense of mama earth and all of her peoples. I am dedicated to cultivating safe, empowering space for the incredible ceremony that is birth!
My path to birthwork has been shaped by reverence for the queer, trans, and birthing body, for the earth, and for the transformational power of the womb. I've spent the last five years as a land steward and community herbalist, growing and distributing food through mutual aid networks. rooted in movements for birth justice and collective liberation, my work aims to contribute to a culture of care.
I began my doula training in April 2025 at Alta Bates hospital in Berkeley and have since supported dozens of families through a dynamic range of experiences. my approach centers what I call radical accompaniment: offering grounded, intuitive presence while inviting families and care teams into deeper trust, emotional attunement, and connection. I integrate holistic prenatal and perinatal care, including support with nutrition, womb health, pelvic floor strength, and emotional resilience.
Your birth is a ceremony. Your autonomy is sacred. I'm honored to walk alongside you.
